about ben gadd
|
Having completed his degree, Ben trained to become a Psychiatric Nurse in London, and since then has worked as an RN in a variety of hospital and community settings. Ben came to homeopathy after looking for a more natural, gentle and holistic way of treating people with a range of physical, emotional, and mental health problems. He was appealed by homeopathy’s focus on addressing the underlying causes of disease, and also on the use of the minimum dose of medicine, hence avoiding the sometimes toxic side effects of pharmaceutical drugs. Having worked in hospitals, he was particularly interested in helping patients for whom conventional forms of treatment were unsuitable or no longer helping, or those who simply wanted another option. He completed his formal studies at the College of Homeopathy in London (1998-2003), has a BSc in Homeopathic Medicine and an MSc in homeopathy. From 2007, he taught at Sydney College of Homeopathic Medicine, and currently lectures at Endeavour College of Natural Health. He has experience of treating a wide variety of complaints, and has a strong interest in the link between mental and emotional states and physical ill-health. He is registered with the Australian Register of Homeopaths, is a professional member of the Australian Homeopathic Association, and is a member of the Faculty of Homeopathy. |
